Privacy Policy

The short version: your photos and screenshots are never stored on our servers. They are sent, analysed, and discarded within the same request. We have no accounts, no user database, and nothing to sell.

1. Who we are

MAGNET is an AI dating coach for iOS and Android, operated by NOMADS INDUSTRY, Istanbul, Türkiye. Contact: hello@magnetwingman.com.

2. What the app sends to our server

Only when you actively tap a button to analyse something:

  • Profile photos you select, so they can be scored.
  • Conversation or profile screenshots you select, so replies can be written.
  • Your bio text, if you enter it.
  • Your writing sample, if you provide one, so suggestions match your voice.
  • A random installation ID — a string generated on your device with no link to your name, email, phone number, or advertising ID. It exists only to count requests for rate limiting.

The app does not request your contacts, location, calendar, microphone, or camera. It reads only the specific images you pick in the system photo picker.

3. What we store — and what we don't

We do not store your images or text. They exist in memory only for the seconds it takes to produce your result, then they are gone. There is no photo archive, no chat log, and no way for us to look at what you sent — because it isn't kept.

The only thing our server writes down is a counter: your random installation ID and how many analyses it has run today. It expires automatically after about 26 hours. If you have a subscription, we also cache "this installation is subscribed" for a short period so the app doesn't have to re-check on every screen.

Your results, your writing sample, and your answers stay on your phone, in the app's private storage. Deleting the app deletes them. You can also clear them from Settings inside the app at any time.

4. Who processes your data

  • Cloudflare — runs our server and delivers this website.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — the AI that analyses what you send. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through its API.
  • Apple / Google — handle subscription payments. We never see your card details.
  • RevenueCat — tells our app whether a subscription is active. It receives the store's anonymous purchase identifier, not your identity.

We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or social media pixels in the app.

5. This website

If you take the profile quiz and submit your email, we store that email and your quiz answers so we can contact you about MAGNET. Nothing else is collected here — no advertising trackers. Ask us and it's deleted.

6. Your rights

Because we hold no account and no personal profile about you, there is normally nothing to export or correct. You can still write to us to ask what exists, request deletion, or object to processing, and we will answer within 30 days. Under GDPR our basis for processing is performing the service you asked for.

Delete everything now: app Settings → Delete my data, or email hello@magnetwingman.com.

7. Adults only

MAGNET is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we will remove any associated data.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the app will tell you on next launch. Continuing to use MAGNET after that means you accept the updated policy.
